We specialize in Porsche Boxster/Carrera automobiles from routine maintenance to complete overhauls, custom engine swaps and collision repair. We have over 30 years experience repairing Porsche autos and have been in this location over 7 years. We take the extra care that you don't get from the dealership. We pay attention to detail and wont replace parts that are not broken or worn out unnecessarily. We are a small shop and work by appointment only.

I have been working with Harry for over 6 years now servicing first my Cayman and now my Carrera S and I have always appreciated Harry's honesty, knowledge, and fair prices. Harry always goes way and beyond to save me money and come up with multiple solutions to issues then takes the time to explain them to me each and help me decide which way to go. He is also very prompt in responding to all questions and emergencies. I would recommend West Side Auto anytime and without any hesitation.

West Side Auto did a complete re-seal of my 993 engine, including valve cover gaskets, cam tower gaskets, cam housing o-rings, power steering pump seal, and chain tensioners. They also completed a lightweight flywheel install with RS clutch and pressure plate. All of this was done with an engine drop. While the engine was out, they also did plug wires, plugs, distributor caps and rotors, and fuel filter change. All of this was 30,000 miles ago. The engine is still tight as a drum and doesn't leak a drop. The work was top notch, and the price was reasonable. Harry and his team do a great job taking care of enthusiasts who demand the work be done at the highest level. I just wish they were closer to my house.

Harry is an excellent person to work with as he takes the time to send you pictures by email to clearly show what needs to be done and he was even kind enough to meet me on his birthday. Harry had my car on the lift and we both got under the car with the transmission down for him to personally show me the issues that I needed to address. Very few shops provide this level of honesty and personable service. I highly recommend Harry if you live in the Central Florida area. That is the reason I drive from the east coast in DeLand to his shop in Newport Richey for my Boxster repairs.

I do most of my own mechanical work, but I turned to West Side Auto for replacement of the clutch and IMS bearing on the Boxster S. I have been pleased with the work and have recommended Harry's shop to Porsche-owning friends. Good work at a good price.

I have been using Harry for almost 2 years now on my 2000 Boxster S. He is very knowledgeable about Boxsters and takes personal interest in keeping my car road worthy. His labor rate is very fair, has all the tools and diagnostics, and keeps up on current developments (e.g., IMS bearing fixes). He only recommends high quality replacement parts, oils, and fluids.

I recently bought a 993 and needed a mechanic to perform second eschelon maintenance since the car is a daily driver and goes on yearly road trips with me to New England and Texas. Discovered Harry about a year ago looking for a truck part in my local Advanced Auto parts store and the subject of 911 maintenance came up and Harry's phone number was passed to me. Harry has kept my 993 in great running order. My car performed flawlessly on 3 road trips of 1,000 miles each (14 hrs) driven in one shot. He takes the time to show me what needs to be repaired or replaced and then shows me what he did. His prices for labor and parts are more than reasonable and he stands behind his work. Harry has the tools and ability for any Porsche work needed and I highly recommend West Side Auto.

It's great to be able to have a small one man shop to service my cars. Harry treated me right on the pricing and does great work. Very vast knowledge of all Porsches and other makes that I have taken to him for service. Highly recommend WSA.
