What Our Clients Are Saying About Specialized ECU

Loved the fact that you guys were honest with us. You only charged us to test the ECU. That honesty is hard to come by these days. Will use your services again if needed. Thank You!!! Ron

I loved the fact that I was able to talk to one of the top Guys at the ECU Repair facility. He knew the problem I was having and was able to lead me to a resolution. It's always a pleasure to do business with people who know what they are doing. You guys are great. I will use your services again.

– Ralph Foglein on January 2012

Your service was excellent I could not have asked for better. I paid for 2day shipping, since that would've put the ECU here on a Monday when I order on a Thursday, you guys made up the difference and sent it over night so my ECU was here the same Friday. Like I said, excellent service.

Our Process

Our testing & rebuilding process for any Bosch Motronic ECU or DME starts with a deep visual evaluation of the circuit board and electronic components.

After the unit passes all bench tests, key components are re-soldered to ensure an optimum transfer of signals and required voltages.

We then test the ECUs with our proprietary electronics lab equipment bench, which emulates the car's engine. We have developed a specific tester for every European car brand we rebuild to ensure accuracy in every diagnosis.

I sent my 88 944 turbo DME unit in for testing after I did the tests of the sensors, connections and harness on the car, for a no spark condition. They said it checked out good and suggested that it could be the KLR unit causing the problem, they sent me a rebuilt KLR unit and re-soldered my original DME unit which gives me a 5 yr. warranty on both units. The car fired right up after installing them. I highly recommend them. Saved me about $1000 or more.
